History
The Coupe des Alpes (Alpine Rally) was undoubtedly the most picturesque of all the international rallies. Starting in the Riviera resort of Marseille, the three day event wound its way through the most beautiful parts of the French and Italian Alpes. In 1964 Vic Elford won the rally in his Ford UK works rally team prepared Ford Cortina GT.

Scalextric Model
This car is amongst our first classic cars to be fitted with the easy Digital Plug Ready system for quick upgrade to Scalextric Digital with the C8515 Digital chip. Lights are fitted as standard. The car is fitted with the super fast in-line FF motor.

The BMW Mini Cooper enjoys a huge following from Mini fans and race fans following on from the original Mini Coopers of the previous 40 years. Mini Cooper racing is a popular one make series on club circuits, and as privately entered cars in rallying, banger and stock racing.


The Scalextric model
The one piece body is light in weight and has a high resistance to impact damage. This makes this car a very good option for the inexperienced or new Scalextric owner who will enjoy the rugged design without damaging the car unduly.
