When these cars were announced back in January Glenn and I were very excited. Glenn has a bunch of Carrera 1/24 cars. But, I've always wanted to race 1/24 scale cars that were a bit more serious. The problem for me is that I don't have the time to build, paint, and decal a model kit then mate it to a Plafit, MOMO or some other nut and bolt chassis. The prototype BRM cars looked fantastic and looked serious enough for me to be interested. A few months later and they are finally available.

The long awaited BRM Porsche 962Cs are finally here. This is the first in a series of three articles about the cars. The next will be a proper review with on track performance and tuning; both plastic (Carrera) and wood tracks will be covered as well as closer look at the car itself. The last article will be a full lighting kit installation.
