SlotCarHeroes 1:24 Generic Chassis review It didn't take long for Tim from SlotCarHeroes.com to whip up a chassis based on requests from people on the Slot Car Illustrated message boards. The request was for a generic chassis that would work with the majority of 1/25 scale plastic model kits available today at most superstores or hobby shops. Tim came up with a chassis that was not only simple in design, but extremely versatile as well. At only $20 for the kit, this chassis is certainly not cost prohibitive.

Slot Car heroes 1968 mustang slot car review"Bringing back the golden age of racing..." is their motto. Back when cars looked like cars, before the push for speed, and everyone had a hand in the industry, this, in my opinion was the golden age of racing. When scale meant as much, if not more, as the speed of which we raced, this was the golden age of racing. The philosophy of SlotCarHeroes is to bring back something of the spirit and fun that was once the golden age of racing, the mid-1960's.
