A formidable site, isn’t it? Allow me to introduce you to Slot. It’s McLaren F1 GTR sporting the Fina Petroleum livery. This is the racing brother of the award winning Slot.It Goodwood McLaren F1 GTR. The car pictured above is modeled after the 3rd place finisher at the 24 Heures du Mans in 1997. This particular livery is striking to say the least, from a checkerboard red and blue pattern to the Team BMW Motorsport Tampo printing on the rear wing. This car looks fast even when it is sitting still. As for its’ performance, well, we’ll handle that subject shortly.
After many long months of holding my breath waiting for this beauty to come out...here it is. A photo tour this today and a comprehensive review soon.
It's a fantastic looking car. The wheels are a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure from the pre-release photos exactly how nicely detailed they are, but they're great looking. There are even little disc brakes in there.

Ok, we are talking serious WOW factor here from a looks and driving perspective. Slot-it rocked the world with the Audi R8C's, the Porsche 956 and 962's. Then came the Nissan 390 GT1s where some experienced some issues with the plastic front wheels (ALL of which Maurizio took care of in a VERY first class manner!!!) Then they came back with the Sauber C9 Mercedes, and now the Jaguar XJR9. On the track this XJR9 is nothing but pure, smooth power!

With their second release Slot It has shown they are a serious contender in the 1/32scale Model Car Racing Market. The Porsche 956 we are reviewing right now is one of the finest Model Racing Cars the staff at SCI have ever seen.
If Darth Vader were to race a slot car, I'd bet it would be the Snetterton Test car from Slot.It. This car is probably one of the most ominous looking cars available today. Criticized for not having a racing livery, it does have a history to it, and is definitely worth a look.
Though the R8C only appeared in one race, the 1999 Le Mans, it began with the Snetterton Roll-Out car. The real car featured a carbon fiber body and chassis, a 3.6L (219.7 C.I.) twin turbo, 90 degree V-8 producing 650 horse power. At 600bhp, the car had spunk. So does the Slot.It version.
