Worth the drive!!!
Trevor and I drove down to Reno last Tuesday to attend Hot August Nights, and what a show this is.
We were attending to promote Slot Car Racing, and raise money for Breast Cancer Research. We arrived Wednesday around 10.00 am and set up our Track on a 24 X 7.5 foot table top.
The track was Scalextric Sport fully bordered. Control was by DS Electronic Controllers using the DS Controller Hook Up boxes which make setting up a track very easy. Power was Radio Shack 3 amp power supplies, and timing and scoring was done by my trusty DS 300.
More on this as soon as I can but for now lets see if this will post up.
Track record held by my son Trevor, try as I might I could not top him.
3.606 seconds on lane 3.
