  • CU Speed function

Just started using a Cu instead of BB. Help us understand if this is correct operation or not.

Turn CU on. Set car on track press SPEED does not give me the actual speed of this car but gives me the speed from the last car that was coded. Is this correct?

We thought maybe we had to code the car first and then press Speed but still get speed reading from last car not this car

So we still have to Write down the speed settings for ea car as the CU gives us the setting from the previous car.

Just like the BB, you can use the CU to *set* the speed, brake, or tank size of any (every!) car currently on the track. You can't read the speed.

Unlike the BB, the CU allows you to set that speed from software (app or computer). When using software, you can even set individual car values from the software- you don't have to change every car on track. So if you use a tablet or a computer, the software would be the place to store that information for each car.

Thanks to both of you for clearing that up for us. Got this CU used so I wasn't sure what it was supposed to do.
