  • DS 200 Question

Can anyone tell me if the DS 200 Race control system can be operated with a track section, instead of a light bridge.

Yes, I've only used it, and DS 300, with dead strips.

      Ninco Dead Strip

Hi, tbrace where did you get the Ninco dead strip track section. Or did you make it yourself ?

        Can be operated either way.

Only difference is if you use a dead strip you can not change track direction unless you reverse the dead strip as it has to be reverse polarity to the track.

We did sell a NINCO/DS conversion track but not available any more. Not hard to make though especially if you use http://www.132slotcar.us/store/produ...oducts_id=1967

        To convert the track.

Sorry, just seeing this so replying two months late...

Didn't use Ninco, but have made dead strip track sections for Strombecker 3 lane, Scalextric 3 lane, and Revell track. As well as two routed wood tracks. The concept is the same for all.

Per Alan's post below, true with dead strips if you want to switch run direction, you have to turn the dead strip section around.
