  • NINCO January '09 Releases

    Gentlemen, you wanted the "XM".....
You asked if NINCO would ever make a motor more powerful than the NC-6........

Let's use this thread for comments!

In the description of the Acura: "Lexan chassis with 2 holes to mount motor...". Will NINCO be making the needed change to the previously released lexan chassis tools so all may have this?

I have no information at this time about any changes to previously released lexan chassis.
Information will be posted if/as received.

As far as the NC10, it'll be interesting to say the least.

I think we may now have a reason to use the 33/11 gear set

Bob, can somebody explain to me what on earth justifies a 33 dollar price tag for a motor that costs less than 4 bucks to build and ship? Are these hand-wound by Martian scientists?

Even NSR motors don't cost this much, and they are balanced by hand. I'm sure the NC-10 isn't even balanced, and they cost 50% more.

                  Are people really such suckers?

Kurt is right. The NC6 is pricey enough as it is. an extra 3000 rpm and less torque definitely does not justify a $10.00 increase in price.

That Lambo has my name on it. Already ordered 2 ~ one to race and one for the display shelf.

On the subject of prices, why are prices in the US higher than here is sunny SA. When converted, we pay about 10 - 15% less for these products than the US guys. Given the massive size of the US market compared to the tiny portion of our population who buy these things, it doesn't make sense.

But I'm not complaining, just commenting.

                        Gentlemen,
I have been "looking into" lowering the price of the NC-10.... please hold all comments until my next post on this subject.

                          Gentlemen,

NINCO has changed the price. The cost is $25.98, the same as the NC-5, 6, 7 and 8.
