I was at Mid Ohio ALMS race Aug 15, 2010. When I returned to Eugene, OR I did a SC7005 "white" body kit with Pattos decals, and relacing Sclaleauto's driver with a Fujimi kit driver who looks more realistic, I think. . Runs quite fast- am pleasantly surprised.

    Good looking car!
Are you running a glued track at Pelican Park?

      No glue

Thanks, SS, for the compliment. It's always a cool deal to model an actual race car, especially after seeing and photoing the 1:1.

No track glue at Pelican Park The track was built in 1986 with a particle board surface which with the local rainy climate warped. So in 1996 we "re-paved" with MDF, both sides waterproofed, then we painted the surface with 6 coats of boat deck paint. Racing every week we will remove tire residue about every two-three week intervals.

You know BRM foam wheels might give you a closer look in the sidewall area on the rear???

              Or even Scaleauto

As I Import and Distribute both not concerned which.

SC-2421P would stay at the 13 mm wide stock look and inserts fit.

SC-2424P are the BRM replacement and the inserts fit those as well.

Other compounds available but these are the one's we run.

For the BRM wheels and tire it is S-021SS

Glad to see some repaints on the Scaleauto 911. Hopefully when the DMC decals arrive from Denmark I will have one to show you also.

                  decals

Do the DMC decals provide for contemporary Le Mans, FIA-GT and/or ALMS cars?

Nice work. I am working on a 1/32 ALMS GT-2 grid. Have you done any of the other GTC cars?

                      Alms

                      Hello Elpic,

Yes, I've done other ALMS GT cars-a repainted 1/24th Carrera C-6R Corvette using aftermarket decals, and a 1/24 AutoArt 2006 Ford GT with peel and stick decals done as a ALMS GT2 racer:
