looks great! is your Oregon group interested in racing Scaleautos as a class? We find them a great out of the box stock class here in NJ.

Thanks for the compliment. Members' consensus is that Scaleauto would race in our GT class which is for contemporary GT, LE Mans, FIA GT3 cars. Since we use Parma 16D's (though we will probably switch to Pro slot PS2002 since Parma's abandoned the motor market) Scaleauto cars are not really competative, though they are such good looking accurate models.

With 12 different classes, one of which we race every Wed. night-

GTO, Contemporary GT Le Mans, FIA GT-3
Tourist Trophy, ’50’s open cockpit, sports race cars
Big NASCAR, Nextel, Busch, Winston Cup
Clubmans, 50’s ‘60’s production sports cars
Jalopy, ’50’s, ‘60s country fair dirt oval racers
Monza, Pre 1960 front engine Grand Prix, F-1, Indy racers
Vintage Stock cars, 1950’s NASCAR, USAC
Can Am, ’60’s era USRRC & Can Am
Dirt Devil, 50’s, ’60’s ’70’s oval Hobby Stock cars
Gran Sport, 1960-1970 racing closed cockpit GT cars
Super Stock, 1960-1975 USAC, NASAR stock cars
Vintage Trans Am, 1966-1972 Trans Am “pony” cars,

-ginning up interest for still another class is a challenge!

it is great to see a club with racers that like to build cars. Hopefully I can get more interest here in NJ, as there are many chassis choices. For now our main classes are BRM and Scaleauto cars, which work well for us. a
