        Scaleauto Porsche 991 Window frames

For those who are building a 991 white kit.

As I do for most of my cars, I've drawn a set of templates of the window frames.
You can print them on a sticker sheet and use them as a mask to airbrush, rattle cans work as well if applied in misted layers.
You can also print them on a piece of clear decal sheet...and decal them.

        with kind regards

Sorry Tamar I'm thick. You'll have to explain what I do with it.?

You mean I use it to mask of the "glass' I don't want to paint black?

            Yes Mike, that's the idea.

You can print the pdf onto a paper, apply masking tape and cut them along the templates.
You can also print the PDF directly onto an A4 paper label sticker.(like the ones you can get from Avery) cut those and apply them directly as a mask.

If you have an airbrush its best to use waterbased acrylic paint so you'ren 100% sure the paint wont react with the clear windows.

Depending on the "look" your after you can paint the inside and or the outside of the windows.

I used to paint my window sills, but now a days I print and apply them as decals, clearcoat them and then cut out and peel off the transparent part.

            with kind regards
            Tamar
