  • Adapting a FC130 motor to a SCX. Pro Pod

I want to try another motor in my SCX Pro Porsche.

Is there an adapter to adapt a FC130 to the SCX Pro Pod?

What SCX motor would be equavelent to the Slot.It Orange?

    Thanks

    SCX trick motor

I dunno what R.P.M. the 'orange' motor does, but if you want a very fast motor ( almost 40000 R.P.M.) you can fit a balanced Parma armature in the SCX can.

You can also easily drop a Falcon or Slick 7 in the long can pod.
All you need are motor mounting screws.

There is an adaptor made by Slot. It, shown here. Glued-in (Goop) Orange Endbell, installed in a Pro Audi R8, which did OK in a recent RAA. Nary a breakdown. Spacers on the rear axle set the gear mesh:

The RX-4H is a higher revving (26k), lower torque (150 gcm) motor, top of the SCX line, that is closest to the orange endbell. On track performance can be comparable.

Robert hit it on the head.... I have used the slot-it adapter on several SCX cars and the work fine..... Just what you need with no problems or carving up the chassis pod...
