  • Need help on 962's

    Guys,

    Just got my new Scaley Sport track in and put my stock 962's on an they were like driving on ice compared to the ninco track I was racing on. So I ordered some S1 tires (tyres for the racers across the pond) to tighten them up and I thought they were too tight. Then I moved my magnet in the forward position, better but still a little too stuck down. Took the magnet out, just a little too slick again.
    Poll question for the guys that race on Scaley Sport;
    How do you set up your Slotit's.

    How about; magnet in the forward position and add a little lead.

      Slot.it handling

      Forget the magnets,

      S1 on the rear zero grip on the front.

      Undo the body screws about 1/2 a turn.

      Undo the motor pod screws 1/4 turn at the front 3/4 turn at the rear, lightly sand tires.

      Then run, should handle well.

      Let us know what you find.

      Cheers

        Too much magnet

        If a magnet car is too stuck down just put paper shims between the chassis and the magnet until you find the right combination. You will have to trim the tabs that normally hold the magnet in place and use tape to keep the magnet from moving around. You can glue the magnet in once you have the right combination.
