  • Newest Flat-6 Motor question

    Directed to Slot It:

Does the newest Falt-6 motor (the yellow 20.5k, with closed top and open bottom) that comes in the newest McLaren and the new Porsche 911 gt1 evo have a part number?

And when will it be available?

We would like to race these two cars together along with some of the older versions of the McLaren and maybe Nissan and Audi, but we want to use the same motor, pod and wheels for all the cars.

And are the new rear 17x10 with the short hub out yet?

    thanks very much
    jon

No, that is not the right motor 132. The motor is a 20.500 rpm motor.

You're right. I caught the 'newest' part but not the rest of it.
Slot.It website, Porsche GT1-98 parts, says SIMN09h for the part number and the picture shows a Flat6 with a different wrapper than any they've released to date.
That part number is already assigned to the 'open' motor.

Wait for Slot.It himself re the motor and I will delete the motor link above.

Yeah, it's on their site apparently the MN09C is the designation.

All their current motors are listed here. Not my falt if you couldn't figure that out (he said, cleverly) ...

MN09c is the long available 'closed' version of the Flat6.

Maybe the part no. will be MN09ch.

Will have to wit and see.

                  C_Mc, you're right!
MN09ch, not available yet but it won't take too long.

What, no prize for the correct guess?

                        I think this was quoted.

200 g/cm torque at 12 volts, but not confirmed or released yet.
