I have looked over each of the cars we've received and all have issues with the chrome.
When the repair decals become available we will be sending a set to each person who has
or who does order this car from us.

The chrome in this photo is typical of what I've seen.

As Maurizio said back when this one was announced the front and rear wheels/tires
are the same size as is the case on the 1:1 car.....I don't see an easy way to power the front axle, just not enough space.

One thing I did see that might have a real impact on performance: the braids are long...very long.

Yes, front wheels and rear wheels are of the same size as in the 1:1 car. We made new front wheels for this, 10mm wide. We could have settled for the usual units but we didn't.
The decal kit should be ready this week and is being made by Cartograf, certainly one of the best decal sheets makers in the world.
On the subject of chrome, I was in the factory yesterday to check out changes that are being applied on the CW12 models and other future R18s. All the top of the car will be treated like the top of the windshield and windows, that are properly chromed and not made with decals. We believed it to be impossible but we overcame all obstacles, and I'll check a complete sample next week.
There may be some delay on the CW12, probably around one month, but I want to make sure everything is like it should, including riding height position of front wheels: remember to set it right in your CA24a before racing it.
As for powering the front wheels, I tried it and it is possible , I will have a sample in Nuernberg. We'll have to sacrifice some tyre width (8mm instead of 10) though. I'm not still 100% sure that the E-tron R18 will have it but it sounds plausible.

          Very cool

All wheel drive, I know it works on a Slot Car.

          Sounds great!!!!

                  "Red Sonya" ???

From the race where My Man McNish first went flying ?

I'm still not an R18 fan ... But it's growing on me (like mold) And I'm beginning to like it ...

I'm "down" ... for this one ...(probably the e-tron Quattro ones too)

I got my car today... not really impressed...
I am really a fan of the stuff you guys make but at least the car I got seems to have been poorly molded (plastic). I am disappointed and at this point embarazed to go back to the store and ask them for a refund.
I am selling it, any takers?

Only issue I have seen here is the Chrome Decal.

What sort of problems are you seeing on the car you bought. Happy to take it back in exchange for any other Slot.it car you may want, no questions asked.
But what problems do you have?

If you are just wanting to sell it, maybe you should post in the Buy/Sell/Trade I hear they are sold out.

I sent you an e-mail. I really do not want to sell this car based on the fact that I would have not bought it had I seen it personally.

I replied and will show images to Maurizio.

I know Slot.it care about their cars, and the image they create. Happy to get you another better example as I said in my email.

Like Maurizio, and Slot.it I support this Hobby all I can, I know we can find you a better example. Sometimes mistakes happen, it is how you deal with them that makes the difference. We will make the difference.

                            Happy Holidays.
