  • Silicones for 2002?

Does anyone make silicones for the BMW 2002 steel type wheels?
If so, you have a part number?
I was surprised to see that others have no problems with the stock
tires as my 2002 runs like it is on ice on the Scalley Sport track (with magnet.)
Yes...... I have sanded and trued them.
    Thanx,

I don't want to hijack your thread, Lytle, but as long as you are asking about the steel wheels, how about the BBS wheels? Does anyone know of a silicone tire that will fit the BBS style wheels? That way we can have the complete answer in one post.

Don't worry about a hijack, you see how long this post has gone without a reply.
I think we are out of luck.

Stopped at my local shop tonight with 02 in hand...
Maxxtrac M6 for the BBS insert wheel....
Narrow the track slightly - that was all it needed... world of difference

Now - If only I could find something for VW......

I gave up and changed wheels on the Jager 02 long ago.
Suspect I'll have to do the same with the VW.
