  • Painting the E.J.'s Hobbies vac body Roadsters

I have been wanting to do a kit for the longest time and came across the Roadster kit from EJ hobbies. Are these good kits for a first time kit builder? Also how are the performance on these cars?

    EJ's Roadster

Any of EJ's kits are great cars that run very well if you tinker with them. I built the roadster kit and it is a simple kit to assemble. After changing the gear ratio and scuffing the tires the roadster really picked up respectable speed. I have 4 of 1/32 scale chassis kits that are as close to the original monogram chassis as you can get. I have two of these underneath Patto's Cheetah bodies with GP tires (the wider tires) and these little cars will really fly. As far as painting the body just follow the directions that Ed supplies with the kit and you should be fine. PS, Very nice of Ed to provide several different decal liveries to use on this body.
