Just figured out why people are having trouble

with chat...when Alan logged out it took the whole chat board down.

Likely one of those goofy technical challenges. He'll be hatin' THOSE soon.

              Yes

              I've read the post.

I tried to do a link and post an image as described and not successful with either. Not complaining at all...just an FYI.

The link was attempted as an edit to an earlier post, the file/image was attempted on a new post.

It appears that you have to click the Submit Reply button beneath the "Additional Options" and not the one above that is just under the "Post Icons".

Image test-- seems to work but can't post below picture

Ok that seems to work, hard to work around the full image right there in pre-post or in edit. May take while to get used to. Seems much easier on OWH's verison of V Bulletin.

Yep need to set it to the standard edit format to get around the full picture in the text as you write a post. ok

                      Picture test

This is the Full WYSIWYG editor, picture shows instantly. My forum works the same but it can be changed.
Change your Options to "Standard Editor" from the forum default of "Enhanced Interface"

It is a little difficult to get past the image to type below it. I did notice that you can temporarily resize the image. I you want to try it. Insert an image then click on it. You'll notice that handles will appear on the four corners as well as the center points on the edge. You can grab a corner and drag it towards the center of the image to make it smaller. I can't figure out a way to retain the proportion though. Usually, if you hold the "Shift" key it will retain proportion. But, that doesn't matter anyway the image will retain it's original size in the post.

If you want to retain proportion I bet you could grab one of the corners and move in. At least that's how Publisher, etc works.

                            Photoshop is click/hold+Shift+drag

I was editing the post while you were reading it NOISY MUSE, I just got distracted and did something else for a few minutes.

I just grabbed a corner and it went proportional, let's see if it sticks.

No problem with adding text after the image.

                              Testing, testing...

                              Original size:

I don't think the Size change took
