So when do these new cars hit the street?

I heard the set was just after the 500.

It takes that long because they have to hit every branch of the ugly tree before they can do the same to the streets....

Good to see the driver looks proportional, cant wait to get a few. And like slotbob said, good to see Aw contributing to the hobby.

Yobear, THAT is a nice looking body, and a great upgrade of the original Tomy open wheel body for the Super G+ chassis......

Is it just me or do those look like adjustable brush barrels?

Did you mean to post that in this thread?

                  Done by Madmann, correct?

No Sir, that was done about two years ago by Greg Williams of AZ.

Yep, a praying mantis about to produce offspring.

We've come a long way, baby.
If you ever get the chance, watch the movie The Blonde Comet, a vintage racing movie from the '40s with lots of GP, Indy, and Midget racing footage. It's currently available on Amazon (free with Prime acct.).

For anyone interested, found this in it's entirety on Utube.

The "blonde comet" was Danica's ficticious predecessor, aside from that I did not watch the movie per se, but rather the racing scenes.

Those guys were seriously brave, racing dirt tracks with no rollbars.

The set artwork shows flat turns and generic paint jobs.
