5th ANNUAL 24 HOURS OF TACOMA

Supporters of the ScaleRacing Center got together for the 5th Annual 24 Hours
of Tacoma . This year running BRM's latest creation a 10 spring , 10 screw pod
    with a metal chassis , fitting a Porsche 962 Group C body .

The number of Teams were lite but the Cars and the racing was the best to date
With many of the 1 hour heats gapped 20 to 30 laps top to bottom , some with
the top 4 teams well within 10 laps of each other .

Team Can Am and the ScaleRacing Allstars were the Class of the Field followed
by Britt Box , EMSA , Team Arrow and Team Green . I don't have all the stats
as Alan was not at the shop when I came by . I do believe Can Am and Alan's
All Stars both ran over 9,400 laps , Britt Box and EMSA finished about 25 laps
    apart .

The Cars ran Great they proved to be equal and quite durable . Darren takes part
in his Third Victory in a row at the 24 quickly becoming a Legend at the Center .

I will hope to have more later . If any body has some race info please feel free
    to share .

Thanks for posting Pat. I had a schedule conflict this year so couldn't make it but found no results or coverage anywhere else (looked on here and FB).

Bummed to have missed it and look forward to pics and stories.

Hi Chris , good to hear from you . I'll try to get some more info and put it up for you .
It was a fun race and as I said before the cars ran well , close and very competitive .
I think 1 motor was changed and not because of failure but it takes about the same
amount of time as changing the pinion . The braids lasted a lot longer than last year
to , I know we only changed ours once .

There are some photos on FB under ScaleRacing Center . Check it out .

We missed you this year , save the middle of November for next Year !

      Pat

      Happy Thanksgiving
