I want this car - time for a mortgage modification. Maybe if enough of us convince Racer to make this available as a kit...

I would definitely buy this car if it were available as a kit, I really want one but a built Racer is just not happening.

You better think that one over, kirk, or wait some 3 years: don't forget the "evil" Ferrari/Carrera agreement...

That's a lovely car, one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever built, although I'm betting that RL won't like it's stance... "Just a joke son...".

          Cheers!

            I hear ya...

But if you don't mind 'borrowing' a pod, motor and gears from an existing Slot.IT you might already have laying around, and if Racer decides to make this available as a kit, you could build your own for under $100. With Ferrari licensing owned by Carrera, Slot.IT may need to wait a couple/few years before being able to produce this model.

Aww shoot that's right I forgot about the Ferrari licensing thing with Carrera. Going the kit route doesn't sound like a bad idea. If I can keep it under $100.00. My track is running good and I'm starting to get the hang of tunning my cars to run well on wood. I think the next step is to start making my own cars . I used to love to build models but haven't built one since my daughter was born. I wonder why

Don't drag me into this one. But now that you mention it, it does look a little low . . .

I did a Google image search on Robert Scales:

Which is Robert and which is Zoom?

Absolutely beautiful. Now for the "duh" question: will a Carrera Dig132 chip fit inside it?
(Please - no one throw tomatoes at me.)

I'm not asking anyone to mount the chip for me -- only asking if there's room for it.

While not a spyder, Electric Dreams sells a pre-painted race kit of the standard 312P for mere $99.95.
