That doesn't go into effect until early June.

What are those appendages on the front wheels? Brake cooling ducts?

Wow, never thought I'd see a slot car with those goofy looking wheel "spats". Glad they're outlawed now. Actuallly, JD, as I understand it, they were actually there to keep the brakes hot enough to work at top efficiency. Evidently, carbon brakes need to be quite hot to work well. That is a nice rendition of the original car, though.

                  Please be aware

That Scalextric F1 cars will be delicate, and I personally have no issue with that. What a beautiful model.

I know I will get both of those and drive them with the respect they deserve. The detail is amazing.

Also for those who like Scalextric F1 cars these are completely sold out through Distribution. Scalextric USA was only allocated a few due to the Carrera license coming into effect in June.

This issue is making a difference with all Scalextric Ferrari releases, the 250 GTO and the 330 P4 are also sold out now.

So those who like their Ferrari's and like Scalextric may want to check in with their favorite dealer to avoid missing out on some beautiful cars.

Just out of curiosity, The new Ferrari 330 P4 Piper/Attwood. I do not see any of the prancing horse logo's on the car.does that mean it it's not effected by the Carrera/Ferrari partnership?

No car released and sold through before June is part of the Carrera License Deal.

So expect to see lot's of Ferrari's before then, well lot's released.

                      The Ferrari's from Scalextric:

300 P4 Sold out at Distribution and many Stores.

Ferrari 250 GTO Sold Out at Distribution and many Stores.

                      Ferrari F1 Massa same.

                      Ferrari F1 Kimi same again.

Brawn J Button Limited Edition Sold Out.

                      Brawn Rubens Sold Out.

Sorry I know the last 2 are not Ferrari's but only a Limited number came to the USA and when I tried to re-order I found there were no more to be had.

So make sure if you want one you check with your favorite Scalextric Dealer as these will not be around long.

Do they have that little plastic clip to hold their body to the chassis...?

Sorry for that, but I just couldn't resist...

                        Cheers!

They will have delicate front wings and suspension.

But not as bad as the Torro Rosso F1 car ( real car ), did you see that both front suspensions failed at the same time, now that is a flawed design

                          See you at the Races.

Yep, identical failures would certainly point to a flawed design, eh? I'll bet Torro Rosso redesigns them in a hurry.

Ahh, who am I kidding....they're fine as they are! *grin*
