Great job on finding and posting the "I've got a Secret" clip.

I found the Casino Royale slot car clip on Youtube. It's in french, but as one commentor added, "It seems to work better that way". Search Youtube: "Scalextric dans Casino Royale". If anyone wants to post it be my guest (I don't know how to.)

I also found the Tool Time Tim clip. Search Youtube: "Home Improvement Tim Taylor Accident Clips". A slot car goes through a window at time 2:40 of the 7:11 minute clip. But I'll bet you watch the whole thing.

We still need clips or pictures of the full Home Improvement Slot Car segment, full Grand Prix slot car segment, Redline 7000, The Simpsons commercial raceway or any other TV show or movie scenes containing Slot Cars.

      Thanks

I can't find the clip, but there was a scene on "Fantasy Island" where Tatoo and Ricardo Montalban played on a one lane set. It was super lame, but the cars were cool.

Good find! Thanks for posting. I saw this episode of "I've Got a Secret" back when it 1st aired. Family dynamics were different back then. We would all sit down after dinner and watch TV together as a family. We only had 3 channels to choose from but, believe it or not, we found many more shows worthy of watching back then than we do now with 100+ or whatever channels!

Best movie to feature slot cars? "Spotswood" (known in some parts as "The Efficiency Expert") - stars Anthony Hopkins and is set in a Melbourne suburb where staff from a local moccasin factory have formed a slot car club...

A few folk from the Victorian slot car fraternity of the late eighties were involved in the production....

The supporting cast and where are they now make interesting reading....

So cool! I'm definately going to have to find this one! I've liked Anthony Hopkins since I first saw him in "Magic". And add slot cars?

Watched some more episodes of How I met your mother on Netflix this morning & Barney gives a 1/43 slot cars set (Fastlane?) to Marshall & Lily as a gift for their newborn baby...

                    It's in season 8 episode 3

Yeah, this is a great movie. It's known as "The Efficiency Expert" in the States. Stars Anthony Hopkins and a young Russell Crowe. The sub-theme of slot car racing plays a huge role in the movie. I bought one, loaned it out, never got it back, and bought another. Only $6 something on Amaz… oh, I'm not sure I can say where.

Interesting.. I watched this video and the winner announced his hometown as being from the same coal town that I live in.
