Well another raceday is in the books with the running of the First Firecracker 300
at Tonys Alaco Raceway for the USAC Sprintcars
8 drivers showed up to try and take home the first extra distance race at the new Alaco Raceway
After each car took to the track for their 3 lap qualifying run the fast lap was put down by Fubar Motorsports driver Larry G. followed by Carl R. and Tony S.
rounding out the 8 car field was Greg,Tom both hauled up here from Tampa,Pete from Silver Springs Shores,Roger from Coleman and Harold all the way from Stark Fla.
The race took the green flag with Tony jumping out to the lead for the first 295 laps before being over taken by Larry on lap 296 then went on to the win to take the checked flag
The race was run with a few yellow flags due to some miner accidents .
It was a tight race for positions 3 to 6 with only 4 laps difference after 300 laps

After the race we all settled down to a Bbq that was the first class thanks to everyone who brought something,no one should have gone home hungry.

After the Bbq we ran a fun race for our new street stock class this will be a fun class to race.
There will be another race in August we will let everyone know where and what date it will be.
