    Brant's Hatch - 1:24 Club - Toronto

After a 30 year break operating a home club track, Brant Snow, Toronto Ontario Canada has started up again with a brand new 4 lane Olgilvie set-up in his basement. Several of us ran at his place as teenagers back in the day and it was a blast racing at his home again. Saturday saw Victor Czerwony sweep the night with victories in Nascar and Sportscar Hardbody classes. Jim Toye saw second place finishes in both classes. Porsche 962c's dominated the Sports class.

Next round : March 7th : Modified, followed by IMSA

Many thanks to Brant and his wife for welcoming us to their home !

    update on motor rules

Brant has messaged me regarding the vote on the motor rule change

He feels that the addition of the Group 12 motors would not be in the best interest of the club and has asked that we do not amend the rules to allow them.

There is also a lot of conversation regarding the current race format and I will keep everyone up to date with any changes.

As soon as we have any official changes I will be posting them here.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer, see you in September

    Jim

    Group 12 motors

    Good morning Jo S,

The Group 12's will be allowed in the classes that list Wasp motors, not all classes.
We are basically setting the rule back to what is was before.

    Group 12 arm Rule Clarification

Will Group 12 arms be legal in ALL the classes or only those where Wasp arms were allowed?

    Season Finale BBQ and results

a fine night of racing !

    Nascar :

Joe Salvaterra Victor Czerwony Terry Dalton

Joe's Thunderdird was dialed in and untouchable this evening taking the win

    Sports :

Victor Czerwony Peter Czerwony Jim Toye

the Sports cars were flying again with Victor taking the top of the podium

Terry has informed us that construction on his track is going well, we will keep everyone up to date on the progress.

The motor rule was put to a vote, we are allowing Group 12's again, with track power at 10 volts this shouldn't be a problem, if it appears to be an unfair advantage we will change the rule back.

Thanks as always to Brant & Dianne, a great season, and an amazing BBQ to finish things off

enjoy your summer, we will see everyone in September
