      Charlie,

R1 was a disaster. R2 looks like you were 6.30's and 6.40's across the board. Not bad.

Looking forward to Sunday's race. Looks like i will be bringing 2 newbies to RaceHaven, and yes Terry you may even recognize one of them.

The cars are coming along well, but after last Enduro and Dave telling me how slow is so fast i have continued my nuclear testing... sorry Charlie... Hope to be a lot more competitive this round.

Well it looks like after much soul searching that i need to bring the big guns this. Two 956's, one with a Scholer 55 wide chassis the other with a Slotvision mk III, along with a 962 with a Slotvision chassis. They may be early mechano chassis, but still work very well.

Motor wise i think i am getting close as my hair is starting to fall out and i glow in the dark.

Surprised there has been no smack talk. Franco and i used to have a lot of fun with it, so i guess i need to start some.

Charlie i'm going to beat you so bad... how bad you say, your son may ask Dave to drive him home after the race.

                See you all on Sun...

                  LOL!

That gives me a thought. I am going to call Franco tomorrow and see if he wants to come out and race.

                  I'm looking forward to Sunday.

Great idea, just make sure that he knows that there are left and right turns as he may have forgotten.

What do you guys use to power your track?

A Trackmate Racing Power Supply at 20amps. Total overkill for what we race but it is better to run electronics at half their capacity. They should last longer that way.

I think we got 3 years out of the first PS. It was a 10amp model. Time will tell how long this one lasts. 2 years and going strong.

Thanks Ron, nice program you have there. I would have thought some of the chassis (DoSlot) and body style (LMP, GT1) would have an advantage as well.

Theoretically a LMP or GT1 body should be faster. On a Big sweeping track they should definitely be quicker than a stock Scaleauto. Our track is technical and tight so all the different chassis and body styles are pretty equal.

The most important thing when running these types of cars is how well your car is assembled. If it is perfect (and I mean perfect), a stock Scaleauto should run with any of the fancy chassis kits just fine on our track. Probably beat them in most cases.

In slot car racing, simplicity is key. The Scaleauto is simple to run and maintain out of the box but leaps and bounds can be made if you spend some time tweaking it.

                            I LOVE these cars!

Oh yeah Timmy!!! It is on. Don't worry I also have a shipment of new parts I am unboxing. All I know is they can only help as last week I spent the day working on my Doslot and only made it slower. Dave was there to witness.

And let me know if I can bring you my WD-40 to wash the rust off that Scholer

                                See you Sunday!
