If you highlight the results on the spreadsheet and save them as an image then they can be posted into the thread and retain all the formatting!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think we will be trying all kinds of things.

Results have to be accessible to users of all OS's, including Mozilla, Firefox, and Mac OS X. In the RAA, we had trouble with the Mac users not being able to read MS-Excel generated data, unless it was cut and pasted into the message panes.

Dennis has volunteered to repair the XL spreadsheet he designed, which is a thing of beauty as long as I don't have my hands on it. Any volunteers to be the score keeper of the GPR?

I don't mind doing it, seeing as I made the spreadsheet. I would just need to be sent the final positions from each round and I can update the spreadsheet, post the results section here and summarize the standings for those without Excel access (as I did for the VRAA).

Robert, send me back the spreadsheet as it stands right now, with the ENYR results in it and I'll take it from there.

What Robert just said - tracking all the data and maintaining all the updates can be a chore, but so much appreciated by all the entrants (many of whom are lurkers but all are fascinated by the ongoing developments in the standings) that the importance of this is huge.

                Many thanks, Dennis!

OK - I was going to attach the corrected and updated spreadsheet, but there seems to be some error on the board and it won't take it right now. I will check it out and try to post it later.

In the meantime, here is a list of the overall (non-class) standings for your reading pleasure:

Oh crap - after ten minutes of work to format all this into nice columns in the input screen, it shows up all lumped together!

Phil, how does that "saving as an image" thing work in Excel? I can't find a menu option that lets me save just a selection of fields.

Here's a more up-to-date version, with all the track details that I can find on the Tracks thread so far, and with the tire details changed for BeeJay's cars.

I hit a glitch trying to change pages when viewing that using Office, and Milo suggested OpenOffice.org and it works perfectly, all tabs are there etc. A lot of info going into that spreadsheet - it will be on my Desktop for many months yet!
