  • Round 7 Suzuka Victoria BC

We ran Round 7 tonight. I had to do qualifying before the race as there was no time in the week to do it. Set the power to 12v and randomly ran a car for a minute until we'd gone through all 30, here's how they stacked up. I ran in the white lane which is my favourite lane and then for the race I ran in blue.

    30. #35 - 8.498
    29. #89 - 7.503
    28. #9 - 7.494
    27. #90 - 7.483
    26. #155 - 7.432
    25. #411 - 7.422
    24. #12 - 7.307
    23. #2 - 7.300
    22. #6 - 7.171
    21. #11 - 7.159
    20. #3 - 7.152
    19. #16 - 7.143
    18. #19 - 7.116
    17. #26 - 6.949
    16. #42 - 6.893
    15. #1 - 6.877
    14. #511 - 6.872
    13. #101 - 6.854
    12. #66 - 6.840
    11. #311 - 6.818
    10. #33 - 6.795
    9. #4 - 6.771
    8. #40 - 6.733
    7. #6T - 6.702
    6. #30 - 6.674
    5. #32 - 6.662
    4. #48 - 6.534
    #10 - 6.521
    #70 - 6.458
    #13 - 6.456

I run each car with the same controller settings. The qualifying times are not always indicative of a high race finish. The easier the car is to drive the better it will place at Suzuka. I will post the race results tomorrow or later today as it is already tomorrow!

Is that a GT-1 car in TQ position.............?

Thanks for posting the Quali results, Darren.

Also, was there a Quali result for the #19 car?

Oh, think I figured it out. The #19 was demoted one number; to #18, based on having let that pesky #26 get by him, again...............right?

We need to see some good photos of that #13 chassis. He has one great setup under that car.

No that is not correct. The #13 was top qualifier, it was terrific at Suzuka. The only error I made was the #19 - I gave it the same place as race number.

Congrats Allan, for putting that GT car on Pole.
Thanks for the quick turn around Darren.
                Looking forward to the results.

                  Down in the valley,
                  valley so low,
                  hang your head over,
                  let the wind blow.

Congratulations to all the top qualifiers.
