          Thank You

          Looking forward to hosting

FWIW: The top running WTCC cars were running 4.730 to 5.000 laps. Several cars @ 10 + Feet per second avg for the whole race. I was really impressed with the times. Maybe the smaller Cheetah's won't be quite that strong but, "ya never know till ya run'um."

OWNER: Robert Holt, aka NJ Slot 1/32

            LOCATION: Plainfield, NJ

            TRACK CONSTRUCTION

4 lanes, MDF, flat latex paint, copper tape, 8' x 22.5' footprint. Slight banking on curves leading into main straight, as well as at end of main straight. Direction of travel is from top to bottom of picture.

            Track length: 71'

            4 driver stations

            4 alligator clips

            DiFalco controllers

            TIMING:

Laptimer 2000 SW, light bridge with photo sensors

            POWER:

            MG 10 amp, 0-20 VDC

positive polarity, 8 power taps approx. 9' apart

            Track voltage 12V

Although Super Tires initially have the best grip in short run, Slot.IT S2 silicone tires typically work best over longer haul. Track will have several thousand laps of silicone compound run in.

I've seen Rob "drive" both 1:32 and 1:24, he is fast regardless of voltage!

I have major track envy looking at everyone else's!

My Track: Hello Kitty International (only way to get my 4 year old daughter to race with me).
                      Hometown: Puyallup (Tacoma) Washington
Dimensions: 16x4, Flat Latex, Copper Braid
                      Length: ? (40-50 ft maybe?)
Power: Pyramid variable, will probably run the Cheetahs around 10-11 volts
                      Timing: Trackmate
                      Controller: Third Eye

                      more pictures at Photobucket:
                      http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a72...Track/?start=0

My good buddy Tim (elvinator) tells me he wants to build me a new one (tough to have friends like that, right?)......basically the same dimensions just a different layout. If that comes to fruition, I'll post new photos here later.

                      Cheers,
                      Blair

                          Schedule

                          LouE,

As to schedule, if possible, could you make my track (Red Mtn. Raceway) the first track on the west coast swing ?? Reason is.......I'm in the desert (no kidding) & it gets hot (real hot). My garage does have A/C but @ 110 or more outside the garage is still very "warm"

                          Thanks
                          Big Jack
