    I'll go anywhere needed.

I think I will be able to complete my host races in October if all of the preceeding races go as planned. If Australia shipping takes longer than estimated I may need to go into November. Just in case all races and shipping happen efficiently, it would help me if Arrold hosts before me.

I have no problem moving up to September. You think my new grandson can marshall at 6 months.

          Gents,
We now have 13 races total on the schedule. I am happier with this, as a season of less than 10 races doesn't really give the cars a great run. I'm going to cap the road races at 4, it's just shy of 1/3 of the season now so I think it's good.

I have adjusted the tentative schedule, and added the information I have so far about the tracks. I will work on acquiring more info from the track owners and updating as I can.

Sounds good. Now since I was able to get my TransAm cars to lap faster than my cup cars without left rear bias, surely I can get my cup cars to do the same. Maybe just a tad more weight on the left. Test and tune will tell.

Looks good and welcome to our host schedule. If you do Facebook go to our DaVols Forum Cup Proxy page and post a couple more pics, for me it is much easier to post there.

                  Final Race

Bloomadega, the 8-lane commercial 10x80ft oval, had been replaced with another track. Though we, the NEPA group, have hosted a race at Bloom Raceway the past 4 years we will not be doing so any longer. Though it was a difficult, the cost of renting the track as well as the sheer amount of marshals/drivers required to make the races happen lead to the decision.

The CNY Slot Car Club in the Cortland, NY area has a beautiful 4-lane Scalextric layout owned by Dave S. which is convertible between an 80+ roval and 40+ foot Pentoval (5 distinct left turns). Track voltage is set around 10 VDC. Adding to the uniqueness is the up hill back straight and downhill turns 3 & 4. We should have a live stream of the races as well.

                    Ken,
Your post says Final Race. The cars aren't coming to Nashville this year?

Never mind. I misunderstood your post. I guess I should be getting the cars sometime this month. I will be in Tanzania next week until the 15th. Mission trip. If the cars come during that time I will try to get them run as soon as possible upon my return.

                      Arrold,
We are around 2-3 weeks off schedule... which isn’t very much at all. We are still on track to end the season end of November/early December, so everyone will have their cars back with plenty of time to build for 2019.

There is still one race in Australia before the cars come to you, so I think things will fit your schedule. After your race Ken (GTOKing) gets the Cars for 2 races... one oval and one roval. Still plenty of racing left on the season

I like the track change on the schedule. Nothing against the Bloomadega, but it looks to me CNY will be more challenging for the drivers and more interesting for us all.
