  • November 20th-21st Tacoma Wa, Round 6 Scaleracing Endurance Series

So here are the dates for the last race of the series!!

Who is in and what are we racing

  • #2
OK you beat me to it again.

This is the last of this year's Events in the Scaleracing Series and will crown the Northwest Drivers Champion for 2009.

This year this is the only round where the points will be counted, unlike previous year's where all the races scored points.

We are planning to run Friday evening starting at 7.00 PM with SCX Audi Pro IROC.

Then we will run BRM Toyota's and Porsche's as a Team Event.

    Then NINCO Porsche 997 IROC.

Saturday will be the 12 Hours of Tacoma with 3 Classes counting toward the overall result.

    Slot.it GT1
    Slot.it Group C/GTP
    Fly Racing

Each will be a 4 Hour Endurance Race.

Sunday will be NINCO Cup ( $15.00 ) with all the proceedings going to help finance Team North America at the World Cup Final. This will be run on the NINCO Track.

    1/24 Hardbody NASCAR IROC.

Other Races may be scheduled depending on time.

We plan to finish by 2.00 PM when the trophy will be awarded.

Contact me if you have any questions.

Pre Entry ( except NINCO CUP Race ) $25.00 per Driver, minimum 2 drivers per Team.
If you do not Pre-Enter all extra races will be $5.00 per race.

Please pre enter I do not want the extra money, what we need is to know who is racing.

Anyone not wanting to race in the 12 Hour but still run other races, first race $10.00 all others ( except NINCO CUP ) $5.00 per race.

Do we need lights in any of these?

        Oh what a feeling.

You can run either a Toyota or a Porsche.

Team Event, as in Endurance Race, although not a long one, length of the race is subject to entries.

No lights required for any class in the 12 Hour Race.

There will also be a Model Contest for best scratch built or redecorated car.

        See you at the Races.

              Great News Darren.

Looking forward to seeing you all again for a fun filled weekend of racing.

It does not seem like we will have a big field for this last race of the year.
However as long as we have Racers wanting to get together and have fun we will run these Events.
Hopefully others will step up and commit to racing all or even part of the weekend.

Subject to final entries we may shorten some of the races in particular the three 4 Hour Races that create the 12 Hours of Tacoma.
Any thoughts on that post away, I figure with a small group we can do a lot more different class races and visiting, and have a good time.
Can add in a Manufacturers Cup race for those attending.
Also SCX NASCAR is always fun, any more ideas?

See you all in just over a week.

Count me in for the entire weekend. I might even break in my Toyota.

I'll need a teammate on Saturday, as I'm pretty sure Paul will not want to subject himself to any more abuse. That would be great if Shane could make it down with the rest of the Canucks.......I claim him if he does.

As to the other classes, I'll bring my SCX NASCAR for sure, but unfortunately, I can't find my own SCX Pro Audi for the Manufacturers Cup........Scott, did I leave it with you the last time we raced those?? For the life of me, I can't seem to find it anywhere around my garage.

                Cheers,
                Blair

Sorry Blair! No Shane! He'd rather go dancing

Have to see if you can recruit Paul!?

Blair. I will get your Audi to Alan's.
Will try to adjust me work schedule for that weekend but in any case will not be racing later than three pm,

I will post the results later today ( hopefully )

I have to get to the Store now to clear up and catch up on work after 2 great days of racing.

Looks like you had fun also.
