    Alan,

These chassis are great, first and foremost. I've got 4 of these and I've noticed on one of them, the chassis plate is a little tweaked on one corner. What method are you and your guys using to straighten/flatten the main chassis plate on these cars? I've tried bending using my hands but the butter on my fingers make it very difficult so I've been using a pair of pliers with a wash cloth in between the teeth and chassis plate so it does not ruin the finish of the plate.

Is there a better method without sophisticated tools and machinery you guys are using?

I put mine in a vice between 2 bits of wood ( to protect the surface ) and tweeked it flat that way.

I have not straightened one myself.

But there will be some chassis plates that are flatter than others in production.
I would do as Darren mentions and clamp the chassis and flex slightly past the bend the offending area.

Didn't think about using the table vice. Thanks.
