  • Round 3 Jamaica Raceway

Jamaica Raceway is a short technical track which shook up the results again.....cars were run in the order they finished the previous round.

In Group C there were a couple of issues:
    # 27 had a front body screw come loose, had to stop and have it replaced under green!
#7 had the motor slow! It was reminiscent of the issue Slot.it had with the first release of the 312pb. Once we noticed the car was slowing it was placed on the track backwards and "revved" for a couple seconds....this seemed to remedy the problem but obviously cost a few laps.

    Hey Darren,

Thanks for the update - but for the purposes of scoring, is there a listing of entrants details? Or perhaps, some photos?

I have a list of what car #'s are in each class, but that's all..... I mean I know my slow thing is #20, Ross' fast things are #27, I think Dale's car is #7 and I think B52RN has entered a #33? But beyond that......

    Cheers, Tony

Thank you for the run, congratulations to the builders who finished better than expected. Based on the 1st 2 races, I was not expecting the checkered flag 2 seasons in a row on this track. That said, the competing builders are WAAY faster than last year based on the lap times I've seen so far.

Can someone take the mirrors off my cars? There's nothing to look at behind them anyways!!! (Except lapping cars that is!)

Next year I'll test ahead of time ... and try different tires. I guess 5 year old shelf tire were not the way to go!

          Thanks for the run.

Congrats to the podium race cars.

Three races in and it looks like my tires, on #00, haven't settled in yet. Still a long way to go so my optimism is still high.
