  • Robert Livingston Motor List converted to a spreadsheet

    Howdy friends.

I wanted a useful archive of information that I could sort to quickly determine motor choices with similar specs. I took Robert's Motor List and moved most of the info into an Excel spreadsheet. After checking with Robert he seemed ok with posting it so I'll probably move it into a PDF format as well as a Google doc and make it available.

However if you want the raw spreadsheet for Excel let me know and I'll provide a link.

    Google Doc Version

    Adobe PDF

    Excel Spreadsheet

You may use these at your own risk.

      cheers

Do you know how much time I wasted here at work doing the same thing just to make the list easier to read?

I've been doing some updating to the spreadsheet so you might want to check the online version occasionally. Fields are being added.

The original, the one, and the only Slot Car News Motor list is here:

                        http://slotcarnews.blogspot.com/2007...otor-list.html

It is great to have it available in searchable format, courtesy of kidvoltage, but please be advised that I add things to it at irregular intervals. The next addition will probably be RPM and torque tests for another sample Slot.It orange-endbell motor (taken from the newest production Ford GT40).

                          Nice spreadsheet.
I think it would be very useful if you added a column for motor output in watts.
This would make it easy to search and sort similar performing motors.

Ya know, an Excel-meister could do a spreadsheet that took the entries for RPM and torque and automatically multiplied them together to obtain power output in a separate column. The formula is on the Slot Car News Motor List.
