My information is that it is or will close and it is possibly the result of a divorce. My information is second hand, however, there was a fairly long thread on Slotblog about it.

Roger has reopened in Bloomington, IL with a smaller store and different tracks. It was the former Mink's/Ted's Raceway. The hillclimb is still there with a small fig-8 and a n even smaller oval. with mail order.

The Midwest Mayhem track is now in South Bend, Indiana at "At The Track"..... The Mid-America Hardbody club has a special demo-derby class we race on it.....sometimes the bodies can live to race another day....

Looks like he still needs to update his website. But good to see he's back with a raceway.

              Mid America x 2

Mid America now has a second location in Naperville..... Roger was at a booth at the Midwest slot car swap this past Sunday handing out cards... can't wait to find an excuse to make my way over there.

He also just hosted the 2016 ISRA World Championships and is the elected HONCHO of USRA and will host the Scale USRA Nationals in the Spring of 2017. TWO flat tracks, one King, the fig-8 and the oval....and the drag strip...and a lot of parts. At least one showcase of 1/32 home racing cars.
