As anticipated, and as always.........a little late. I Present the Race Report for Race #1 of the Highly Coveted Winter Season!!!
It was the Largest turnout of the year! We had 11 Entries! Anything over 10 is Just fine with us!
Serge was in fine form last night. He Ran Wicked fast and managed to edge out Tom for the First Place Spot!
Tom and Phil had a Close battle for the Second Place Spot. Tom managed to take the Spot from our Current Champ and Ever Competitive Phil. A Great drive by both Racers.
I have a Feeling this is going to be our closest Porsche Championship Yet!!!!
An honorable mention has to go out to Brian! He picked up a 4th Place spot in a huge field with All Fast Guys!!! Mario was left wondering what happened as The Blazing Fast Car Brian was driving left him about a half Lap behind!
Jim made the long Trek again, and as always, its Great to Race with Good People! Thanks for coming out Jim!

It was a Very Close race! Serge and Phil both had a Fantastic Run. Serge would prove to be the better Racer tonight and Edged Phil out by about a half lap. Nice Run Serge!!!
Tom took the 3rd Place Spot after suffering an "adjustment" to the car in his heat on Green. He kept his calm and ran the rest of the heat. A sign of a True Racer!
Achim had a Wicked Run!!! 4th Place and Climbing!!!
Johnny after only a few Races has managed to get into the Top half of the field!!! Great Race John!!!

Right on Time, The Race Report. (sense the sarcasm there please)
Race 4 Looked Good Right form the Start, with all the Fast Guys showing some Great Speed.
Serge however come out to Dominate the Night, and the Class. He Set both new Track Records for Porsches and is looking like the Front Runner for the Championship. Way to go Serge!!!
Phil took Second with a Car length short of a 195! His best run to Date and a Flawless Race!
Tom was not on an Average Night either. He Ran his Best run to date. Wicked Drive man! I think Serge should lend you his motor for the next one and we can see what happens!!!
Man was the Track fast!!!!
Greg Raced for his First Time Ever! He bought a Car, Chris "fixed" it up, and he Had a Fantastic time. I am pretty sure we will be seeing him again this Friday.
Lastly, Brian Finished 4th and its Nice to see his Consistency and Stay on the track Attitude getting him somewhere!!! Great Drive Brian.

Is there somewhere in the rules that it says a faster lap breaks a tie?
A tie should be a tie.
As for how to distribute points for ties, how about like golf. In this case a tie would be 4th and 5th place points added up and divided by 2!
