Raceday Recap
................Another day of racing on the high banks of Rogers "Colemanville Speedway". The race results show just how close the racing was with the computer giving us the finishing order. Two out of the four mains all the first three cars were on the same lap at the checked flag.
We had seven drivers show up to challenge the high banked speedway that was changed from four lanes to three which I think made the racing a whole lot better.
We had one driver lose a motor today,Pete in his big block modified had to go to a backup car in the main.Had one car find the floor,Carls late model desloted and was sent flying when hit from the rear over the wall and on the floor. And the day wouldnt be complete if the light bridge wasnt taken out when Roger and Larry tangled sending Rogers Modified up on the wall and into the bridge.
A vote was taken about if we should drop the Wing Sprint cars from the schedule, all voted yes to drop the class.
A fun day of racing was had by all a lot of laughing, close racing the way it should be.
