Default Circuit de SRQ

Hey all had to downsize on the layout due to space. Did L-shape eight feet long with L end four feet and thirty inches wide. Lane lengths are 19' 10" on outer lane and 18' feet inner. Lane spacing is 3.5". So guess it's gonna be more test and tune layout. All routing is done. Get started on filling holes tomorrow then priming and paint. Hopefully get that done before Luf's tape tool gets here. Will post more pics along the way.

Looks like it turned out fine I don't believe you have downsized the fun much.
There looks to be enough technicals to make head to head racing great.
It also looks like you will have room to exercise you scenery capabilities

Dk Blue vinyl guardrail. Be pretty much it for guardrail. Have 15 pit walls coming from rixvette to do the rest. The dark blue vinyl will go around outside of the table also. Then the rumble strips will be dk blue and white.

Thanks 2FER, Yeah it came out pretty good. Had just a few places i had to take a file to. It should be alright for some racing would have liked some more lane length tho. Little cramped for space. Probably not gonna be to much for scenery. Keep it clean and simple. Maybe a few trees little bit grass. Think i will add some lights since already have the led's.

Default Adding the S.L.O.P. Bowl

Check it out came up with adding the S.L.O.P. Bowl to the end of the Circuit. I got the room to add 42" to the L. And there are the same width.

Driver stations started. Center panel will have digital volt meter with some toggles for lights and signs. Then driver lube holders on each side....

Thanks Marcus, Yeah going with copper tap. Just got the first coat of gray on the road surface. Be using green latex for the grass for now. Maybe do some tress and ground cover later down the road. Not much room for to do a whole lot. Gots to work with the space i got. Keep it simple.

Now it is starting to look like a race track. Just a thought, and I dont know how much effort you are wanting to put out in the scenery dept, but I plan on using a grassy cloth used by table gamers for the flat grassy areas on my track. Since you have no elevations I thought you might be interested in giving that stuff a look. It is not stiff, more like a fabric and will add "pop" to your landscape I think.
