c'mon fellas, we only need 1 more racer to fill out the field of 6 cars. I'm sure someone wants to race with us. I'll even cover your free entry fee! lol

We have a 6 hour endurance race on 6/17. Would anybody be interested in seeing a live video feed?

we've tried in the past without much luck. I'm hoping to use YouTube Live. If you want to see it, you will have to subscribe/search our YouTube channel, Cincyslots.

just ran a quick test and it seems to work well. there's about a 15 sec delay. if you subscribe to our channel you should receive a prompt on your phone that we are live on YouTube.

I'll be running another test tonight. it also has live chat.

Cheers!

Default Success!

I can report that the 6h race was completed last night at around 8:30pm! It was a blast and the latest and greates software from Bruce Yingling worked like a charm. We were using iPads as remote driver stations, having the fuel gauges on the main track screen turned off - absolute fantastic!!

All in all, we raced with 5 teams, and managed to get a total lap count of approx. 6000 laps - detailed statistics will follow, probably in form of a video....

Just wished we had 2 more racers to fill the 6th car....

Thanks again to Bruce Yingling!

Cheers!

Seb

It was a great event. It's fun when cars encounter real life issues too. I would prefer that it didn't happen to my team, lol. We had 3 virtual flat tires and a real guide wire failure with 58 minutes to go. This was not the fault of Carrera. We replaced the factory wire with silicone. Can't wait to do it again.

Thanks again for hosting!

Thanks to Seb for being an awesome host! The racing was tight for the entire 6 hours with all the drama of the real thing. I look forward to doing it again.
Thanks!

Interesting. Did anyone else replace their wire similarly and yours was the only failure, or did they leave the wiring stock AND yours was the only failure?
What did you determine to be the cause of the failure? Bad solder joint? Bad tension causing excessive metal fatigue?

A couple of us changed them originally because the wire/wires were broken. I've not taken mine apart yet but I'm assuming I might have made the wires too short. We'll see.

All of us that raced the 6hrs at the Uberring want to thank Bruce Yingling for offering us the most updated racing software. It worked perfectly for the entire race. My only issue is I was given 3 flat tires. That was probably code that Seb told you put in there! LOL

There's a secret combination of a bit to check and then throttle and lane change presses to put the mechanical event whammy on another car... Seb never told you about that? LOL

Thanks for an awesome weekend Bruce

You guys really have a good thing going there - I will definitely have to drag some more of the Michigan folks down next time

Cheers

Ed
