Default '82 Mario STP Wildcat

Most know I love to model the Mario cars. Here is a body I was playing with to fit over the Mega G+ chassis. The only modification to the chassis is cutting off the green wire from the can to the circuit board. I haven't noticed any difference in the performance. In fact, El gecko and Speedhoppy will recognize this chassis with the painted wheels from my 962 Form A car. This chassis really moves!!!

Now, who say's we can't get a open wheel car to look low on this can motor chassis??? You be the judge. Paint and decoration is a work in-progress;

Really nice work, Gary (as always). As long as you can contour the underside of the body to match the shape of that can motor, there is no reason it cannot sit the way you want it to, and it looks great to me!

Gary
Body looks great. I agree with Speedhoppy, if you can get the underside to sit they way you want, anything is possible. In addition, i have always been a fan of the older style indy cars. Keep up the great work.

Awesome, love it! Reminds me of my favorite Hot Wheels Indy car, the Turbo Streak:

Love the PC-9 too, how did I miss that one?? Remind me to ask you about these next time we get together

Yeah........how did you miss my PC-9's. I have my all time fav livery painted..."The Gould Charge". It is with the 1st generation windscreen, so I have to do another. Will be more than happy to show you next time. One of these days, I'll get you into the open wheel cars.....
