SCX hesitation fix?

Does anyone know if there is, or going to be, a "fix" to the hesitation problem (when any car passes the start line the other cars on the track hesitate for a split second) on the SCX system? Does the SCX see this as a bug in their digital system? What causes the problem? It's my biggest complaint with the system to date.
