Harv - your Camaro did break the hole at the guide. It was almost done with the third heat when it happened and the sad part is how well the car was doing. I'm awaiting Dickie's info so I can send it home for repair/replacement.
Alexis - your Camaro was also smoking in the heat. Your damage isn't permanent. When it rotated around it broke the soldered connection to the braid. It looks like you glued the guide wires into the chassis and there just wasn't enough slack.
Again, I'm extremely sorry gents. I hate breaking my own, let alone anyone else's car.
Harv-I presume you'd like your car sent back so you can fix it? Or if someone is willing, do you want someone to try to fix it for you before the next race (next weekend I believe)
AiG-Do you want someone to resolder the braid connection?
As these happened during the race, this will be your penalty. There will no further penalties incurred to fix them.
If the race will be FOR sure next weekend then I guess see if somebody will fix it....
IF it will not be for 2 weeks I'll pay to have it shipped home ASAP Priority Mail and I would rather fix it myself since I'll have to live with the car after this is over...... and I may want to use it for another proxy in the future....

Thank you for a great report David, very good presentation. Very nice not having to try to sort thru all the numbers and class,s to find the class winners and places.
My poor Volvo looks worse for its "transport" stage accident and it's performance seems to be going backwards also BUT it is still in the event!

I feel the same way about mine and other's cars but you should not apologise,these things are bound to happen occasionaly,thats racing.
