Default SlotCarIllustrated stops responding

It seems I'm having a problem with the SlotCarIllustrated website and forum. I can connect but after about 5-10 minutes or a certain number of clicks/topics the site and forums stop responding. Internet Explorer says it is unable to connect. I leave it for 30-60 mins and then I can connect again. I know the site is up because I can go to my phone and connect to the site and forum just fine. It's happening right now. So I'm using my phone to post this. Anyone else experience this or know what I can do?

I've been online for about the last hour (PC with Windows 7 & IE, using broadband cable connection) and no problems.

Me again, using my alter ego and Firefox, same computer. I'll leave this turned on for a bit and see if anything happens.

It is a cable connection.

It happens everytime I use this site. No exceptions. I don't experience this with any other site.

No problem here - as usual, after about ten or fifteen minutes I'm no longer 'online', but no difficulty clicking on Posts or Threads etc and automatically rejoining when I do so. No need to log in again or anything.

Connection: Comcast cable
OS: Windows 7
IE: IE9

I downloaded Firefox tonight and tried it same thing. Connection is ok for 10 mins or so then stops responding.

I'm wondering if I'm on some list or something and SCI is knocking me off after 10 mins for some reason.

It's really ticking me off...lol.

Could be a problem in your cable modem. Do you use wifi with your cable, or a hardwire connection to the cable box? I had problems with dropped connections with my home wifi, which I solved by going into the wifi software and adjusting the signal strength up to maximum. Every wifi box has an ISP number which you can put into your browser to allow access to its setup and adjustment. If you don't know the ISP number, you can get it by calling Comcast on your phone.

Default We have not knocked anyone off in years :)

We don't kick anyone off for being logged on too long. Maybe settings on your Computer. I often stay logged in all day ( and night ) never logs me off.
