Thanks Marcus for the input. Would love to fit 4 lanes but most likely 3 is better.

Mounted the other side today. Now to get the pulley system mounted and the extra foot of table on each side. It will be 12x8 when done. Right now it is 10x8.

Not anything new from the table front other than I have drilled holes through the cabinets to run computer wires through.

I however am the proud new owner of the former "Little Monaco" track pit buildings! I cannot wait to get the track built to put this thing down on! It was a large building to ship from Montana to San Diego at 4ft 9" long but Randy AKA DowntownDeco did an amazing job breaking it down to fit in a large moving box. Thank you again Randy for working it out with me. I have to get to work on this track now!!!!

Ahhhh, I admired his work on those building. Very nice, congrats on the new addition. One question though . . . Where the heck are you gonna fit that thing?

It will be a pull out piece that can lay accross the cabnet table top when the track gets folded. It will run the length of the table by the front straight when the track is in use...I AM SOOOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the cabinet motorized!!!!! It's ALIVE!!! Here is a video. I still need to tighten up one side of the cable so they pull up evenly but it works well. I now need to add the 1'x8' extensions to the table ends that will hinge backwards..... Click the pic below to see the video of it in action!

Well...I mounted the computer and the power supply into the cabinet this weekend. I also ran the wiring for the monitor, speakers and the electrical power strip. Next is to get the extra flaps mounted to the table and then on to the track.
