help with web cam lap counter

i have my web cam, i have got zone trigger,and i have got ultimate racer 3.0 but how to i put them all together to make a lap counter for my ninco set??

Great video tutorial.
It helped me a few weeks ago and works great (for what it is.)

Not as refined or clean as in-track sensors but a great way to get going for cheap if your soldering skills aren't up to par. Mine weren't and I failed in my first attempt at IR sensors.

Obviously you need to be careful and place it where no hands are likely to trigger the lap counter.
