and caught a lot of us by surprise. Certainly we can be flexible enough to extend the deadline for a few days. We don't want anyone to miss out on this fun do we? Besides I'm not finished lining up our venues either. Soo just blame ME!
Car #5 is finally ready to go. This is one of my resin bodies with a PC2 chassis and Racer wheels. The rear tires are Yellow Dogs.
There was a bit of a scuffle in the pits and my driver scraped the side of the Jaguar van. I hope no one sustained any damage to their cars.
This is the chassis. The Scaley motor is a bit lazy but the car handles well.
At least 3 Tassie cars will hit the post on Wednesday, thank for the extension. Unfortunatly my small class car does not look like making it unless a miracle happens.
Nice Ferrari Rixvette, looks good on the BRM wheels.
As I've found out that my TR3 is in fact a TR3A and therefore outlawed I've had to use my back up car. It is a Morgan +4 which I built about 4 years ago, all I had to do was change the motor (MT/1) but I decided to fit a slightly deeper guide as well. It sits on a PCS chassis and handles nicely and I find that it is predictable on my home track.
I'll get it posted in the week and also send payment.
This weekend I nearly completed my TLOR cars. Hope to get them finished up and in the mail real soon. With luck we'll beat the arrival time of those down under folks. And for fun I thought I'd send a long a photo of proof. It was about that time I realized I had a nice group of cars underway, TLOR or not, so here's a group photo.
TLOR #A: 356 Porsche. Brass chassis. Needs a gear change and an interior. Body is a Resilient Resins. BWA wheels and inserts. BWA slimcan motor.
TLOR #B: Ferrari 166. Body by rixvette. Brass chassis. BRM wheels. Needs the interior, body mounted and a few other minor details. Carrera motor.
Allard: Greenman body. Scratch chassis from a Revell-o-gram 550 Porsche and a little bit of plastic and brass rail. Ninco classic wheels and tires. Not meant to be a racer. Does drive around nice though. A swap of the AutoArt motor would probably speed it right up.
Mercedes: Airfix with wheels and chassis from Ken W. (mmmoose1 - hope I got the right amount of m's) With Ken's chassis it is a sweet runner. Vanski motor.
Wow, what a variety...
And how was your weekend?

My class B Cunningham went in the post today, did not get Haystacks last night. Believe he is sending his in a seperate package. Shame about the little car still sitting on the bench, with no wheels. It will be ready very early for next year!

That's the black #4 car? Got more detailed photos of that one to post?
