I am interested in the Pantera slot cars and want one.how may I get one?and is there a stock street version or just racing versions? no matter I still want one.68 Road Runner

SA hasnt released them yet, and if I remember the SA catalog showed only race versions.

Carrera made two different Group 5 Panteras a couple years back.

This car is planned for release in the Summer of 2012. SC-6034

There are two decorations possible from the same car as it comes with decals. This car is listed as a Pre painted kit with decals for the 24 hours of Le Mans car # 82 from 1976 and the 24 hours of Le Mans #52 which ran in 1974.

Also complete decorated cars SC-6035 which ran at Le Mans #7 in 1975.

and SC-6040 DRM # 318 Jagermeister.

These should arrive late 2012.





There are also Rally versions planned from MSC.

How Scaleauto lists the cars 1/32 scale are SC-6*** numbered cars, 1/24 scale are SC-7***.

This News comes from the Front Page of SCI, where I posted both the 1/32 and 1/24 scale cars announced this year for Scaleauto.

So if you didn't bother with the decal sets for the first pantera you could leave it as is for a street look or change the colour, nice idea!

This car is planned for early Summer release. Hopefully timely production will be better this year. There are photo's of test shots from the finished tooling in the Toy Fair Galleries both Scaleauto and MSC versions.





That said production in China has been very difficult in the last year or so.
In speaking with one of the Major Manufacturers I found out that millions of dollars of cars were not even able to be produced due to Factory Closures.
China is in flux, the biggest Model Manufacturing Company went out of business the knock on effect has hit many companies including Scaleauto.
