Hey Al...glad you got your site back.

Could you please give me a little interpretation of what the numbers that identify your wheels mean?

For example, what does BW3215-200-062-450 tell me?

I know they are 15" wheels, but what do the other numbers indicate as far as what size tire will fit on it or whatever else they mean? Thanks.

First numbers,3215 are scale (1/32 scale) and, rim size in the real world (15")
32 13 would be 1/32 scale and, 13" in the real world.

Next number is the width at the rim (the part where the tire sits) .200, .275, ,380 etc

Third number is the bore size (axle size) 062 is 1/16", 093 is 3/32" , 125 is 1/8", 540 is 5-40 threaded to fit the older threaded axles used in the sixties.

Last number is the insert diameter, so, you know what inserts will fit what wheel. First three numbers of my inserts are the outside diameter of that insert. BW450-01 is a .450" dia insert, BW375-01 is a .375" dia insert.

So, that part number, is a 1/32 scale 15" wheel that is .200 wide at the rim to fit a 1/16" axle, and, takes a .450 diameter insert.

Hope this makes sense.

Default FLY classis wheels

Does anyone know if BWA is still making aluminium wheels for FLY classics? I can't find the 32005 + 32003 wheels on the website, e-mails are bouncing back from bwapenrose@hotmail.com and I didn't get any reply to a PM on Slotforum, that's why I registered here. Any info appreciated, thanks!

Al is sometimes a bit 'internet challenged' we suspect, but he checks in regularly and will no doubt respond soonest.

Cool

My Hotmail account got torched, took a couple of days to get it back. First time that's ever happened in about 13 years of Hotmail use.

I have wheels and inserts for both those cars.

New part numbers would be

BW3215-380-093-450 Front for the Porsche
BW3215-380-062-450 Front for the Porsche (optional front wheel with 1/16" bore if you want to use 1/16" axle)
BW3215-460-093-450 Rear for the Porsche
BW450-01 Inserts

And

BW3215-380-093-375 Front for the Ferrari
BW3215-380-062-375 Front for the Ferrari (optional front wheel with 1/16" bore if you want to use 1/16" axle)
BW3215-460-093-375 Rear for the Ferrari
BW375-07 Inserts

The optional front wheels are for ease of making Free Wheeling fronts with a 1/16" axle.

Best way to contact me is bwapenrose@hotmail.com (now that it's fixed [I hope]) I check that daily.
