Hi Racer,

Won't mention the guy's name from Racer, don't wish to embarrass him. However, he seemed confident that Racer would be producing Lola T 70 MkIII, #11, or #12, or both . . .

These two beauties we part of the 1967 Le Mans grid.

So when will we see production of these Aston Martin Lola's? Many agree these were amongst if not, the most beautiful Lola's ever built.

Thanking you in advance . . .

Jas

Default Lolas the pair...

Well, to start, the Number 11 has a totally different rear section, more rounded and longer --and also the engine detail visable thru the rear window (on 11) is different than 12. So it would require two different molds --but would be cool!!!

More importantly to me, are they going to join the Sideways product line in the $70-$80 range or the Racer line at $200-$250 range. If the latter is their choice I will be sticking with my Fly/HRS2 combo to satisfy my Lola T70 craving.

my guess is that it will not be a sideways car. all the cars that racer has produced from that era are resin bodied and around $250 msrp.

Hi,

Interesting takes on the Lola, the one pictured is a unified Lola for 1967 LM grid. According to a couple of 1967 grid photos from various sources.

Sideways would be nice. As someone stated, will probably be the $250 eater.

Thought that the Racer rep might chime in as he has in the past.

Doesn't bode well. Just seems that someone should build such a pretty car.

From day 1 the Mk III just looked right to me. It was my favourite car from the first time I saw it in the flesh in the sixties and has remained that way ever since.

So: I really hope they do the Sideways version but it is a given: even if it is the $250 version that they do I will still buy one...
