Oh well, I get back to the land of the living with a heavy heart at the poor showing of the Stubbomobile.

Congratulations to mmmoose1, slo1quick and Stig.

It was only a matter of time with the #8 car.

I believe Munter or SlotsNZ is sending the spreadsheet with the full results. I will consult with Slo1quick in relation to the three way tie for 4th place to see what we do with the points.

I'll update the main sheet and post the link as soon as I get the info.

A big thanks to Munter and his merry men for hosting the round (thanks Mac).

Soon the cars will be heading back to Australia to Terry's track in NSW.

My BRM #6 was slow but at least it was consistent! Raking up the same number of laps on all 4 lanes (give or take a few sections), it almost had me wondering whether it was driven by the same driver throughout. When the car comes back to me, the first thing I'll take apart will be the one-sided spine of the chassis and chalk it down to a bad idea.

Lim your car was OK to drive. It wasnt that slow. The single torsion bar chassis possibly caused some unexpected deslots giving a lower lap count.

Yeah, thanks John, I figured that was the problem. I'm going to try the single bar again, but this time in a more central position with the body more firmly mounted and will only enter the car after successful extended local tests.
